Our aims

Foster collaboration

Foster interaction and collaboration between Adelaide’s protein and molecular biology research groups.

Promote strengths

Facilitate an awareness of research strengths and key research equipment within Adelaide.

Promote the ASBMB

Promote the ASBMB as a Special Interest Group of the Australian Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

Cross-pollinate ideas

Create a forum for students and post-doctoral researchers to present their work in an informal atmosphere.

Disseminate findings

Facilitate the dissemination and learning of the technical and practical aspects of protein science, and related areas.

Connect globally

Invite interstate and overseas scientists to present research findings in the field of protein science.
